If you’ve found your way here from my photography page, you probably know me as the person behind the camera.

But there’s a lot more to me than photography.

Welcome to Becca Lately — my little corner of the internet where I get to talk about what’s actually happening in my life right now.

Not everything needs to be perfectly planned, polished or turned into a business.

Sometimes I just want to share what I’m currently loving, thinking about, working on, learning, buying, making or figuring out.

So, Who Is Becca?

Well, I’m a photographer, I work in shipping and logistics, I’m a wife, I’m a mom and I’m someone who seems to have a new idea every five minutes.

Photography is a huge part of my life, and through Rebecca Coopen Photography I get to photograph newborns, families, couples, weddings and all the beautiful chaos that comes with real life.

But outside of the camera, there’s a whole other world happening.

There are business ideas, home life, motherhood, things I’m obsessed with, things I’m definitely not obsessed with, little purchases that were either genius or completely unnecessary, places I’m visiting, things I’m learning and the occasional “what on earth am I doing?” moment.

And that’s what I want this blog to capture.

This blog is going to be a snapshot of my life as it is right now.

What I’m currently working on.

What I’m currently loving.

What I’m currently trying to figure out.

The businesses and ideas floating around in my head.

Photography and the behind-the-scenes of running a creative business.

Motherhood and the everyday moments that come with it.

Lifestyle, beauty, food, home, shopping, places I’ve been and things I’ve discovered.

And probably a few completely random thoughts along the way.

Because sometimes the random stuff is the most interesting.

This Isn’t Just a Photography Blog

Photography will always be a big part of what I do, but I didn’t want this space to feel like another extension of my photography business.

I wanted somewhere that felt more personal.

A place where I can talk about the things that don’t necessarily fit neatly into an Instagram post.

Some weeks there might be a photography story.

Other weeks it might be a new business idea.

Maybe I’ll share something I’ve bought and genuinely love, a recipe I’m obsessed with, something I’m learning, a place I’ve visited, a parenting moment that made me laugh, or simply what life has looked like lately.

There are no real rules.

So, What Is Becca Lately?

It’s life, lately.

The good bits.

The chaotic bits.

The exciting bits.

The ordinary Tuesday bits.

The things I’m creating, the things I’m learning and the things I’m still trying to work out.

It’s lifestyle, but make it real.

It’s business, but without taking myself too seriously.

It’s motherhood, but without pretending I have all the answers.

And it’s photography, but with a glimpse at the person behind the camera.

Basically, it’s me sharing what’s currently happening in my little corner of the world.
